An Initial Evaluation of the Weinberg Center for Elder Justice’s Shelter Model for Elder Abuse and Mistreatment

The findings of RAND Corporation’s initial evaluation of the Weinberg Center for Elder Justice offer hope that this innovative shelter model can be a scalable, replicable and cost-efficient solution to address the growing needs of older adults experiencing abuse. The evaluation also indicates broader societal and health benefits.

This evaluation was funded by the John A. Hartford Foundation and The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation.
